The venue is a lovely beach town called Villajoyosa which is situated on the Costa Blanca some 25 minutes drive from Alicante airport and 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Benidorm.
Our accommodation is the suitably named Eurotennis Hotel. This 3 star hotel is situated just outside the centre of Villajoyosa some 400m from the private beach. The rooms are well appointed, spacious with en-suite bathrooms, a large lounge/bar area and restaurant where meals will be provided. There is also a pool, sauna and a shop for anything you might have forgotten to bring! The facility has 16 floodlit all weather courts and there is a local club nearby which has 8 clay courts. It also has a fantastic view of the sea and great sunsets!
There will be a full tennis coaching programme on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings focusing on specific themes with match-play and a tournament in the afternoons and Sunday morning. Analysis by video, which is a great learning tool, and CD Rom will be included. This intensive schedule is a great opportunity to fully focus on your game and make a real improvement. Matchplay will be organised in the afternoon if required. If you want even more tennis then private lessons would be available at my usual rate. Ratio of 8 players per coach will is one of the lowest if not the lowest guaranteed ratios.
Apart from tennis you can of course relax on the beach, shop and explore the busy market in Villajoyosa and Alicante, or perhaps a night out in Benidorm. Other excursions can be organised. |
